Many
times we have the tendency to give up faith in our dreams when we
experience disappointments in life. Sometimes it is because God did not
answer our prayers or grant us the desires within our hearts. At other
times, it is because we have lost a family member, friend, or even a
well-loved job. Likewise, social misfortunes such as sickness,
depression, failure, and financial difficulties often cripple or
destroy our faith.
Nevertheless, we should never give up our faith-no matter what
disappointment come our way- because we serve an awesome God who can
turn a bad situation into a blessing. According to Romans 8: 28 (KJV),
Paul says, “And we know that all things work together for good to them
that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
So, if you love God, then it is a surety that you can count on Him to
“work all things out for your good.”
It is, therefore, imperative to keep faith alive! It is the
essential fuel to blaze the fire of our pursuits. Moreover, the word of
God indicates that every disappointment (or temptation) we experience
is to test our faith. So by giving up our faith, we fail God’s test;
but if we remain faithful, we will surely pass the test!
